Hungarians expect Brussels to set aside political debates
ECONOMIC POLICY RESEARCH
The Economic Research Institute has a diversified profile, including economic impact studies, international best practice analysis, and the effect analysis of different economic trends and budget decisions on society.
The Research Institute supports the work of specific economic policy fields with international best practice analysis, and by presenting the best examples of how other institutions with the same profile operate in the world. The Research Institute examines the impact of the sectoral agents’ economic policy proposals on the labor market and on economic growth. On this basis, the Institute articulates policy proposals acceptable for the sectoral agents, while accommodating business, budgeting, and social interests. The Research Institute also analyses and evaluates the economy trends of the world affecting competitiveness and Hungary’s future, and – in its consulting capacity – seeks solutions that can help policy makers, in line with present political economy orientations.
